Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Workshops

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

If you didn’t know, as well as our awesome range of stationery, we also stock Annie Sloan Paint and accessories. We are not just stockists of this fabulous chalk paint, we are crazy mad fans of it too and literally paint everything that doesn’t move. Anyone who has used this chalk paint on an upcycling project will know how addictive it becomes. The result is so good it makes you feel like you have a brand new piece of furniture; without the cost, but with a great sense of achievement.

We have used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint on so many different things; it really is incredibly versatile. From painting bureaus, tables, chairs, draws, frames, stools and desks, to recently painting our exhibition stand for PG Live. Our new published range was originally illustrated using these paints too! Nothing is safe from some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint treatment.

Recently we have had some great fun painting up some unique pieces for the shop, including pineapples and of course our favourite flamingos! Not only did we use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint on these, but we also tried out the new gilding wax that Annie Sloan has launched. The gilding wax gives a lustre effect and creates something very special when used over the top of a complementary shade of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Annie Sloan gilding wax can be used on a whole host of projects (not just flamingos!).

Little Paperie also stock the full range of Annie Sloan tools which will help you along with your painting projects. The Annie Sloan brushes are the best we have ever used. They really do work brilliantly with the chalk paint and ensure you get the perfect finish on your project. You can also find the iconic mixing mat, wax and stencils in store too. Everything you will need for your chalk paint project.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Workshops

We also hold Annie Sloan workshops at Little Paperie for those of you who have been wanting to start a chalk paint project for a long time. We have lots of people join our classes for different reasons; some people want to use chalk paint, but are a little unsure of how to get started. We have other people join the Annie Sloan Workshops because they have tried painting furniture in the past and not ended up with the results they have wanted. When people have recommended Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to them, with the no preparation required, they are interested in learning more. Other people have come along to the chalk paint workshops to develop their techniques and learn some advanced skills. Whatever your reasons for wanting to come along, we have a workshop for you.

Find out about our next workshop dates here. You can also find all of our Annie Sloan Chalk Paint products in our Derbyshire store or online here.
