Annie Sloan Projects for Easter

The long Easter weekend is just around the corner! As well as eating chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner we imagine some of you will also have plans to get some DIY projects completed. Our customers have been coming in to purchase Annie Sloan paint because they are planning some projects of their own.

We never like to miss a party. So, to join in with you all we thought we would have our own painting session in the shop. It also gives us a great opportunity to demo our new Annie Sloan gilding waxes.

As you can see from the photos below we had a flamingo-off, Sloan-off, paint-off kind of day. We painted up these fabulous flamingos with some of the Annie Sloan paint that we stock in the shop. Most people just associate using Annie Sloan paint with big pieces of furniture and big projects, but really it’s uses are endless.

Below, are some photos of the process we went through to achieve this finish using a range of Annie Sloan products and tools. We hope you find this useful and have a go at painting up your own little (or big) project over the long Easter break.

You can see more of our projects and Annie Sloan fun on our social media pages. We love creating new things so we always have one project or another happening in the shop. You can also improve you own Annie Sloan paining skills with one of our dedicated workshops. These workshops are held in our beautiful shop in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. They really are a great way to learn the tips and techniques of this fabulous paint as well as having lots of fun!
